I strongly recommend that your cake is stored in the box supplied, in a fridge, right up until the start of your celebration. This ensures that your cake is strong & stable when you move it to your event. Once in place, your cake can be kept at room temperature until serving.
1. Using a sharp, serrated knife, make a horizontal slice across the cake and flip the one-inch thick slab of cake onto a cutting board.
2. Cut the slab into one-inch strips, creating columns of cake.
3. Cut these columns of cake in half horizontally to create coffee sized serves.
4. Repeat for the remaining cake and make sure to save a piece for yourself! ENJOY!
Your cake will be refrigerated right up until the time that you collect it, so it will be as firm and sturdy as possible when you take it. I recommend cranking the A/C so your cake remains chilled on your journey. The safest place for your cake is on a flat surface in your car such as the passenger footwell - NOT on a car seat. Finally, once your cake is in your possession, it is your responsibility so drive carefully!
